Roxbury Land Trust (RLT) seeks a part-time Development Director who is passionate about conservation. Founded in 1970, RLT currently protects nearly 4,000 acres of forests, farmland, wetland, and watercourses; provides more than 30 miles of hiking trails for passive recreation; and offers educational programming for all ages. The Development Director

Works a flexible schedule, part-time, salaried job focusing on cultivating and engaging with donors

Directs annual fund drive appeals, coordinates mailings, and manages donation receipts, acknowledgements, and donor database.

Coordinates specific project appeals (e.g., formerly, the Volunteers Bridge replacement at our River Road Preserve)

Researches new grants and funding opportunities

Plans and attends special events and programs in coordination with the Development Committee

Coordinates online marketing and social media including the RLT website, Constant Contact, Facebook, and Instagram

Works some evenings and/or weekend hours, as neeeded
The ideal candidate is an energetic, people-person, with strong technical skills and a team player. This role reports to the Executive Director.
Compensation
The part-time, salaried position features pay commensurate with experience, two weeks paid vacation, and a flexible schedule. The job will be based primarily out of our 6 Mine Hill Road, Roxbury offices, but some remote work is possible.
