Join us for CT Trails Day at the Mine Hill Preserve for a 3-mile-long guided hike lead by our Board of Director, Dariel Curren. The group will walk along the Donkey Trail that passes by two mine tunnels and a series of grated air shafts, which now serve as entryways to several bat hibernacula and ends at the furnace complex.
The hike is moderately difficult with some climbs and rocky terrain. Please wear appropriate footwear and insect repellant. Rain date of Sunday, June 7th.
